Education

2026-2027

Master of Literature & Creative Writing, Western Sydney University

My studies focus on blending advanced creative practice with contemporary literary theory, exploring how stories can challenge dominant narratives and foster deep empathy. Whether I am analyzing classics like Lord of the Flies, designing engaging English vocabulary lessons for my students, or coordinating local community arts events right here at the Parramatta Library, my goal is always the same: to create a sense of belonging and use the power of text, prose, and visual art to help others express the complex emotions they often find hard to put into words.

2024-2026

Master of Art Therapy, Western Sydney University

Fully accredited by ANZACATA, the course prepares me for professional clinical practice by exploring how artistic expression can facilitate psychological healing, self-awareness, and emotional communication where words fall short. Through a balance of theoretical coursework, experiential art-making, and extensive supervised clinical placements across diverse community and healthcare settings, I learn to adapt creative modalities to support individuals and groups navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and personal growth.

2005-2006

Master of Museums & Galleries Studies

St. Andrews University, Scotland

The Master’s program in Museum and Gallery Studies at the University of St Andrews, with a specialization in museum education, offers a rigorous blend of museological theory and hands-on, practical training within Scotland’s oldest university. I explore the evolving role of cultural institutions as dynamic learning spaces, focusing on how to design inclusive, accessible, and engaging educational programs for diverse audiences, from young learners to community groups. Through close collaboration with the university's own distinguished museums and galleries, the curriculum emphasizes the power of object-based learning, creative storytelling, and interactive exhibition design to foster curiosity and critical thinking. Ultimately, the program equips me with the professional expertise and pedagogical frameworks needed to translate complex collections into meaningful, impactful learning experiences that inspire connection and community engagement.
